What it does

Know where money is flowing before you pick a stock.

Strong stocks come from strong groups. Sector Sweeper shows you which sectors and industries are leading the market right now — ranked top to bottom, updated every bar — so you start your search in the right place.

  • SECTORS table — all 11 S&P 500 sector ETFs, ranked by % performance. Green = up, red = down. #1 highlighted in gold.
  • SUB-INDUSTRIES table — 12 sharper themes: Semiconductors, Software, Banks, Biotech, Oil Services, Gold Miners, Airlines, and more.
  • Fully sorted — strongest group always rises to the top. Weakest sinks to the bottom.
  • Watch the movement — a group climbing the board is rotating into favor. One sliding down is falling out of it.

How to use it

Top-down is the whole point.

Find the leading sector

Glance at the SECTORS table. Whatever sits at #1 is where money is currently flowing. That's your hunting ground for the day.

Check the sub-industry

Look at the SUB-INDUSTRIES table. Is there a theme inside your sector running even hotter — like Semiconductors inside Technology? Start there.

Go find the stocks

Now you're searching in the right corner of the market. Use Target Isolator to score the individual names inside that group and find the setups.

Defaults work out of the box.

Add it to your chart and it's ready — no configuration needed to start. Tune when you want to.

Lookback (bars)
How far back performance is measured. 20 bars on a daily chart equals roughly one trading month.
Default: 20 bars
Table position
Move each table anywhere on the chart — 9 positions available. Sectors and Sub-Industries are independent.
Default: Middle Left / Middle Right
Text size
Tiny / Small / Normal / Large — size each table to your screen.
Default: Small
Dark / Light theme
Matches your TradingView chart style. Toggle to Light if you use a white background chart.
Default: Dark
